Upcoming CGHS Foundation Events for 2008

Fun is an important part of fundraising.  This year the CGHS Foundation will sponsor three community events that combine good fun and good company along with an opportunity to support your Centre Grey Hospital.

Silent Auction
July 5th – 12th, 2008
Markdale Golf & Curling Club

Our biennial Silent Auction is always a popular event. Donations to this event are appreciated and are now being accepted at the Foundation office; pick up of items can be arranged by contacting Lori Summerville (519) 986-7456 or Norma Lawler (519) 986-2958. We would gratefully accept donations of antiques, arts & crafts, wood working, gift certificates, tickets, outings, dinners, baked goods, and any other items, so long as they are in excellent condition. Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Saturday, July 26th, 2008
Markdale Golf & Curling Club & Highland Glen Golf Course

You don’t have to be a hot-shot golfer to participate in this event.  It’s a great opportunity for some good fellowship and outdoor recreation, good food, great prizes and includes an auction with a variety of quality merchandise to bid on.  Participants will receive a charitable receipt for a portion of their green fee.

Family Fun Day - CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon Saturday, October 18th, 2008 Flesherton Kinplex, Pavilion & Arena

We are already moving forward with plans for our 2nd Annual Family Fun Day - a day that has something for the whole family. The 2008 event will include the Chris Neil Ball Hockey Tournament, our fun filled Chili Cook Off, chili tasting & judging, excellent musical entertainment, our annual local school Penny Carnival, a variety of Children’s Activities, food booths, award presentations and new this year will be the addition of a Family Skating Party. Bring your friends & family and join in the fun!

Donate a Wreck to Centre Grey Health Services Foundation - Building Fund
Now is the time to cleanup our countryside of derelict vehicles plus receive a tax deductible receipt at the same time. Disposal in an environmentally friendly manner.
