Mr. Peter Richards, President of the Dundalk Legion, Branch #285 and Burton Seeley, Poppy Chairman, present Dan Rose, Chair and Jennifer Edwards, Foundation Coordinator, both of Centre Grey Health Services Foundation with a cheque in the amount of $4,000.

This money was raised through poppy sales during the 2006 and 2007 year and was donated for the new operating table that is needed for Centre Grey Hospital in Markdale.

Between the 2007 CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon and the CGHSF annual Light for Life Christmas campaign, all required funds for the new table were raised. Currently, five OR tables are being tested and it is expected that one will be selected and purchased in March of 2008.
