Feversham and District Kinsmen generously step up and give $5,000 to the MRI initiative currently underway. “I cannot believe the generosity of this group,” said Darlene Lamberti, Centre Grey Health Services Foundation Co-ordinator. Just a few months prior the Feversham and District Kinsmen donated the funds for a much needed Paediatric Crash Cart, and now they are generously giving to the MRI initiative.
Chris Griffin, Centre Grey Health Services Foundation (CGHSF) MRI team member said that in addition “they are our best customer for the Catch The Ace Lottery whose funds also go to the MRI. Our community is a better place because of civic minded groups like this.”
The $4.7 Million MRI initiative is currently underway to replace the outdated and failing MRI system in the Owen Sound Hospital. The new MRI system will be quicker, more efficient, and will have the capability for more advanced testing.
