Local residents Bob and Joyce Oliver participated in the TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour 2009 that took place on Sunday, May 3rd in New York City, USA.

They successfully completed the entire 42 mile bike ride through Central Park, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island in approximately seven hours.

The Oliver’s used their participation in this bike tour as an opportunity to raise funds for Centre Grey Health Services Foundation, for new hospital equipment for the Centre Grey Hospital in Markdale. Over $1,200 dollars was raised through their bike tour! Thank you to all those who generously sponsored the Oliver’s in this fund raising cycle tour.
