The Bi-ennial Silent Auction will be postponed until July 2021
This event is very important to the Foundation. It is a chance for us to spend quality time with our community and our donors. Therefore, please know that the decision to postpone this event due to COVID-19 did not come without significant consideration.
However, these are unprecedented times and your safety, health and well-being is our top priority.
WHILE THE DATE IS CHANGING…… The need remain the same!
Our Silent Auction will be back in July 2021 and will again be an effort to raise funds for critical medical equipment. Your help will be needed. Please consider donating, sponsoring, attending and/or volunteering for this event in July 2021. We cannot do it without.

With the summer of every other year comes the Bi-Ennial Silent Auction. 2018 marked our 13th Bi-Ennial Silent Auction.
This event has become an event that is truly embraced by the community, and the cornerstone of the Foundation’s fundraising. For 4 days in July, the Markdale Curling Club is transformed into a cornucopia of goods; new, vintage, antique, hand crafted, one-of-a-kind, gift certificates, to name a few.
The 2018 Silent Auction community raised $20,500 for priority capital needs. Without the support of the community this event would not be possible.
The Foundation is grateful for the hundreds of items donated for auction, and the numerous volunteers who give freely of their time and expertise to this wonderful community event.
