On Sept. 20, Harry Hartrick and Terry McComb hosted the 11th Just for the Health of It Golf Tournament with more than $2,400 in proceeds going to the MRI fundraising campaign at the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation.

Darlene Lamberti, Centre Grey Health Services Foundation Coordinator reported that the weather cooperated and all of the participants were enthusiastic. Third-party events such as this are instrumental in providing funds to help Centre Grey Health Services meet their goals to keep health care close to home, she said. “This took a lot of time and effort and we are so grateful.”

The tournament money will go toward the campaign to raise $4.7 million to replace teh existing MRI in Owen Sound. If you would like to donate, you can go to gbhsmri.ca, or visit your local hospital foundation.
