Thanks to a gift of $11,200 from the Royal Canadian Legion, Flesherton-Markdale Branch, our local hospital will soon have a much-needed upgrade to its ultrasound equipment and a new automated blood pressure monitor, complete with stand. The funds have been generated through the Legion’s annual poppy campaign which is intended to benefit veterans and their families. The new equipment purchased for Centre Grey Hospital will indeed help in the medical care of veterans and their families, as well as the larger community. The Foundation thanks our local Legionnaires for their extraordinary generosity.
